so i have an 01 accord with about 90k miles on it, its automatic and it stalled at a stop. heres the details. so it was me and 3 of my friends in the car, come to a stop, i put it into the 1st gear and then it starts to roll and then i stall in the middle of the lane while making a left. anyone know what happened? this is the very first and only time that this has happened. I learned that it might of happened cause of low tranny fluid, but i have a full case. i also read that it might be the IACV or clogg in the fuel system. anyone have any idea what might of happened? oh and also the car rolled off from a lil dip in the road, im just saying that it might of been caused by being on a lil hill like the car being at an angle.

You say its an automatic but yet you put it in first gear? Why? anyways iw ould check the IACV and see if that is it... It seems to be cause alot of similiar problems recently... So check that and as far as stalling did it just not moved or sputter or explain the stalling experience if you could...

well it has 90 have you checked you spark? spark plugs wires check all fluid then go a head check if you have spark at all check battery, any lights come on when it happend, as also said check fluids also bad gas will do it where you on E do a fuel system cleaning and you got timing belt coming up on the 105 mark soon,
>check spark if you havent changed the spark plug change them and wires also check battery and clamps.
>check fuel

is the engine rotating at all like just cranking or is it doing nothing? no clicking or cranking and also check vacuum line to intake and so forth it doesnt matter if it maunal or auto check those then go from there

well i just replaced the spark plugs back around january i think. also i just went to honda today, they said that its nothing if the check engine light doesnt come on. and yeah i had like half a tank of gas still. I think it might of been the battery, cuz me and my friends were installing subs in my car and as i was driving the power wire came loose. but we wrapped the wire in electrical tape and then put it in a plastic bag. I guess it was just one of those random things that just happen. oh yeah and the way it stalled, i guess you can say it stalled just like a manual car, like if you werent giving enough gas as letting go of the clutch
