Now that Nissan brought this monster back, and Honda/Toyota are trying to do the same with the NSX/Supra. Mitsubishi needs to hop on the band wagon by bringing back the 3000GT. Screw the EVO, Vr-4 FTW :)

why the evo would be the perfect platform for them to build on body wise just needs a v6 turbo motor or turbo the hell outta the current motor but make it reliable. but still though i consider the r-34 a better buy than the new gt-r just on styling. then there's videos all over you tube showing 1000hp skylines crushing hyabusa's at the track

Was the 3000GT ever really that great of a car? I'm asking in earnest. I see them around and they look very cool, but I never hear of them being modded out or raced or tracked. 3000GT/Dodge Stealth are very good looking cars nonetheless.

Yes I have seen a couple, they're no skylines thats for sure but they can hold their own in the import scene. I have seen a number of them at the track, took on supras, rx-7s, nsx's, from what i know 3000GT's are pretty much on par with those.

REALLY!? Because if this is so I need a beater...those might be one. The Dodge Stealth and Mitsubishi 3000GT have the same motor right?

they've been talking about bringing back the Supra for years now :coffee:

Wasn't this LS-F supposed to be a "Supra reincarnate" before they came out? Or is that the super V12/V10 car?

i think its the super v12/v10. i read about it back when my civic was getting an oil change 2-3 years ago. there was a big write up in motor trend about how they're going to bring it back to compete with the then "next gen" skyline

edit: seems like there are no real concrete plans to recreate the supra, and if there are any Toyota is keeping the lid shut on it

wow what track do you go to? all of those cars wont lose to the stealth/3000gts, unless we're drag racing...the rx7 that is :lawl:
