Re: 3.5 Build @ 5050Movement (Updated: Oct12/08)

finished wrapping the exhaust, my friend is bringing home a portable arc welder tonight from work, i've always noticed my rear bumper sags under the tail lights, and uppon pulling it off the other night, i noticed the bracket it rests on, tac welds had broken so that explains why it does. i figured id fix that. also tac in my aluminum battery box for the trunk. gona take a ride out to jersey tomorrow, drop the headers off and see what progress we are making with KMS and the rest of the build.

my boy said if all the parts were in by this weekend, car would be up and running for nov 8th(which is honda day @ atco) but im still waiting on the p2r plenum and some powder coat.

theres also a lot of little **** i have to do under the dash. i have 13012091201349 wires under there, which is retarded. so much **** and extra wire, going to clean that up A LOT. and i have to stregthen the bracket for the clutch considering that stage 3 pressure plate keeps causing it to bend and the clutch doesnt fully engage when its down to the floor.

also apparently clutchmasters has a revised flywheel since they released the kit publicly so since i helped "ginnie pig" it, while everything is out, im gona send it back and get a brand new one for free.. maybe even pick up their 6puck clutch since when i installed it wasnt on the market yet. it was just a full face.. they now sell a 6puck and 4 puck(4puck too aggressive for everyday driving IMO) remember this car is still a daily driver for me

anyways......... updates sunday bitches

i guess that makes mine as the "guinea pig" :D

and to all those peeps that saying "go with the poly filled mounts" :eekwtf: :fail:

Rediculous claim... i know cos i've done that, there's nothing painfully than breaking your OEM and replacing it again with "poly" reinforced OEM only to find out after less than a year it's busted again! Mike, you need a stronger mounts, 3.0 NA i would understand, but a 3.5 and a FI in the future? How can a strut like mounts be filled with poly-urethane be compared to a solid mounts (in case you don't know the insert can be replaced by different options, such as street, drag, race) This by far the best investment you'll ever gonna have!

sorry for the rant, i just hated to see how these mounts getting bashed on, not only on this site but also on others... Me, accord_v6_400m and 8 others did not wasted our effort, time and money to push the manufacturer to make this product just to be insulted, we saw potential to it and thought about other enthusiat just like us to benefit too... Yes, we did pioneered them ;)

btw, I am not in fact a salesperson from there company nor affiliated to Innovative, just one happy customer :)
