Was your chassis originally a 4 or a 6 cylinder chassis?

Re: 3.5 Build up thread

plenum gets you more air, more air = more fuel = more boom its a decent sized gain. im not payin a full 600 for it. theres something with the CL-S tb has a dual chamber or something? where theres an extra part to have it open @ WOT? the plenum lets me keep it open at all times. I forgot what i was reading up about it

Not quite the butterfly valve is going to stay closed until 3800rpm like usual unless changed. All your doing is adding more volume before and after the valve opens. Its good for high end power, but the idea for the butterfly vlave was to get higher inertia air coming in so they're basically speeding the air up until it gets to the 3800rpm point where you sacrifice speed and go for total volume.

I've seen good results with them and the same car on another dyno later showed no results so go figure. It'll be something you can go tune for.

Hey Mike! I want to check out your build, what are you doing next week? I'll be in Boston this coming weekend so since NY's only a couple of hrs, I wouldn't mind meeting up with you, let me know. You should come over sine there's going to be a massive BBQ for the turbo install. lol
