Re: ColoradoAVS97 : 00 5spd coupe

Not too shabby man!

I'd start off with fixing the dent, blackhousing the headlights, tinting the windows, and removing the pinstripes. Just my opinion lol, do you have any plans of your own for it?

im trying to get the pin stripe off, do i just simply pick at it with a razor? or is there a better way??, thanks.

Don't use a razor on the paint!

This is what you need:

Work in sections. Use the hair dryer to heat up the glue on the striping and use the plastic scraper that comes with that Goo Gone to scrape the stripe off. Use the Goo Gone itself on a clean towel to wipe off the excess glue. You'll get the hang of it as you work your way around the car. It's time consuming and quite a pain in the ***, but it's worth it. I've done it before and I had to spread it out over a few days to get it all done.

haha, i mean with the ones on your car now, haha. not the optional ones youre buying.

haha yea they blow, i was thinking of getting new center caps because they were completely worn off when i bought the car...but that was just a dumb idea. My driver side stockies have a good amount of shine to them, but the passenger side is just dreadfull, looks like cement...so yea ive been waiting awhile to find some new rims and these ones were real cheap and clean.
