no key for locking lug nuts, what now?

basically my skittle came with locking lug nuts and the previous owner decided not to keep the key in the car. dealer doesn't have one either. what can i do? pretty sure they aren't mcgards, but even if they were, i have no way of identifying it.

then you should contact with Enkei to see they have it other than that you need to research on the internet to see what company manafacture that key. Google is your best friend.

any chance there's a pepboys by you? used to work there last year,they sold a universal wheel lock key,it might have been in a pack or not,don't really remember to well, and they also sold McGard there...but it might be worth your time to call or ask on the phone?good luck bro

that's kind of scary... like home depot selling a universal house key...

a few ways I have seen this handled -

buy a cheap socket at local autoparts place that is barely smaller than the key lug, hammer it onto the lug and unscrew

weld something onto the lug to unscrew it

use vise grips or something similar

grind the lug nut down until you can get a better tool on it


not the best ideas but its something
