The shells on touring cars sit too low to run it, even on packed snow. You can give it a try though bet it'll still be kinda fun.

BTW i did find an HPI shell in the UK......on ebay

the only thing i am worried about is water...what how it might or can damage it...

They make balloons for the radio receiver. Then slip it in the balloon and zip tie it and away you go. You can just wrap it in a baggy or something so it doesnt get splashed.

I drove mine in the snow, rain, water, etc. Youll be fine.

Electric are easier to maintain and a bit cheaper, HPI is fairly easy and good quality...

www.towerhobbies.com for all your parts!

Make sure you get one that says "Kit" and not "RTR", and then buy the parts that it says you need.

I bought RTR but replaced 95% of the parts with aluminum and carbon fiber... $1200 later and its an unbreakable speed machine.

you would have to wrap the ESC but not sure how it would react to the heat being trapped in the bag...

Hes driving it on snow, so I'm assuming its a colder climate... it should be fine either way. Just wrap the electronics, the servos should be a-okay without a wrap.

You could search the forums at rcuniverse.com for a better answer though...
