Oh. So If I understand correctly, most german cars have lug studs that can be removed, or threaded into the hub to be taken out, while ours are fixed into the hub.

yes. pretty much.

Therefore, even with this adapter, the original 4x114 lug studs from our car would be sticking out as well as the 4x100 studs from the adapter.

yes. but just not as far, but far enough to not work with a flat hubbed wheel.

But how long are our studs? Couldn't getting a thicker adapter to cover them solve this problem? And getting a proper set of lug nuts to affix the adapter to the hub?

the lug nuts you see on the adapter in you link are the ones you use to put the adapter on our wheel studs. THEN you use whatever lug nuts you want on the wheel studs on the adapter. idk how long our studs are, but i doubt they make an adapter thick enough to fully incase them. at that point youll need to worry about making your car a widebody more than the stock wheel studs hitting the back of the wheels you want to put on.

honestly, id just go with the correct lug pattern wheel, itd make things a lot easier.if they dont make the wheel in the pattern, you can always have it redrilled, if thats an option with the design of the wheel, or youll just have to find something else......or you could always get in touch with the manufacturer and see if theyre custom one off you a set.

I can't find an inside pic of the wheels in question, but I understand what you mean.

True. At that point the wheels would probably stick out past the fenders (on stock height it would just look like you had a bad offset or something I guess).

Don't think redrilling would look good with this wheel :(

I think I contacted Kazera a while back and they basically sent me over to Tire Rack saying that they were discontinued and didn't have anymore...yet they have them in stock in other wheel lug patterns.

The studs on a 4 lug accord are 1in long and there is a company called adapt usa that sells adapters that are 1in thick and convert from a 4x114.3 to 4x100

Yeah, but why go from a 4x114 down to a 4x100
the spacing between the lugs would be less

To fit the specific 4x100 wheels?

But why go to a 4x100
Must people would want to go up to a 5x114
this is the first I've heard of someone with a 4/114 bolt pattery wanting to go to a 4x100 (I believe that's the wheel size of a Civic)

I think he just wants to do it for this specific wheel to work. But its definitely not worth it imo, just find a similar looking wheel in the correct bolt pattern.

Exactly
I can't see a adjusting my setup for a patricular wheel.
If the wheel was made for a 4x100 bold pattern, I'm sure it's available for a 4x114

In reality, if you *really* wanna run adaptors, bolt them to your wheels, use the open holes as pilots with a plunge attachment for a hand drill ($35, like a drill press kinda) and drill pilot holes on center into the back of the wheel for your studs about an inch...

Pop the spacers off and then open the holes up to your stud size...

Or you could hack the studs like I see people doing

I like my way better but I guess it depends if you care more for the wheels or being able to readily change back to the original studs

Who makes 15x8.5 or such racing steelies in this weird bastard lug pattern?
