there are multiple online sites with which one can find DEP paint.... i should know i've been in search of some

Sweet. I might try painting the hood and the trunk as well. It looks more flakey in the pictures than the oem paint. do you think you could tell the difference between the oem paint and that stuff if they were side by side.?

Honestly, test out an area obviously, or another piece or material. This is what I used on my eyelids as well, and there is no diff. Flakiness is only as much as how concentrated you spray it, how fast you move your paint can. On the valve cover I did 3 layers of DEP to make sure it was thick, so maybe that's why it's so flaky haha.

red and green don't go together. other than that, you need to clean your engine bro. i also need to clean mine. bahaha. come over sometimes and i'll share you my "make-up box" for detailing. haha.
