I will gladly race any stock 5spd 4cyl with my AV6. I'm seriously lol'ing here that you guys think there's any comparison.

not if it's at a stop and the run was really short haha. I took one from a stop once and it caught up with i hit 3rd gear. Now, if i had a bottle then it would have been a different story :skurred:

For any of you who want to say an I4 5sp or a v6 is faster, both are slow as hell. The 5spd is more fun, the v6 is smoother. Other than that, it's basically racing your corrolla against a caviler. Someone will win but neither deserve bragging rights.

I'd race you. It just depends on your mods and if you know what the heck your doing to add power to your car. I raced my own 1996 toyota avalon. Which has the same HP but about 20lbs more torque. I had it off the line at about a car length. Everytime I shifted I gained more ground. Until we were at about 80mph, my avalon blew past me.

Stock vs stock. The av6 is just a tad faster than a 4 cyl 5 speed 0-60.

Per cylinder the I4 has more hp at about 38hp/cylinder. The V6 is around 33hp/cylinder.

The AV6 has a fine engine. I would totally buy one if they made it in a 5 or 6 speed. But sorry guys, that 4 speed automatic just sucks balls. With all that torque and power, they should have matched it with at least a 5 speed. It's like riding a bike up hill in last gear, ur gonna lag.

I think the I4 is better in terms of maintenance and reliability.
The 6 cylinder at 60-70mph will blow the doors off most 4 bangers period.

Haha yeah definitely suspension should be first no matter what. And yea the roads do suck in NY but you can definitely still survive. I think you were the one who asked me how I can possibly drive my car in NY, at that little meet we had near Roosevelt field mall. But I still drive and I'm slammed haha.

I'm looking around for a suspension set up(springs and shocks). I've seen a few on ebay but they are expensive. Hopefully I'll get some soon!!!!!!!
I have decided to lower it. I'm preping the lip kit to paint it on thursday scince I could't wet sand yesterday due to the rain.

If anyone is selling a suspension here please shootme a pm......
