Sprayed my engine bay tonight before a car show tmr..Turned out very well.
Started with 3 coats of flat black,2 coats of rainbow pearl, and 4 coats of clear.
started around 6,ended at 9:30,Tear down.tape up,and built back.
*Note,Yes I didnt paint the firewall,nore remove the engine blah blah,just did a quick spray;;Wanted something different like people are doing now n days*

Nice!!! I would have painted my lip with rainbow flake but ended up using the rainbow flake vinyl.

By the way, where did you get the rainbow flake from?

sorry,if mods could change the tittle than thats ok.. ha

well i work at a body shop so I could have used real peral powder,But for this quick job,I layed down flat black..then sprayed 2 coats of that DUPLICOLOR EFFEX($13 small can) spray on it..Then pulled out the compressor and real clear and sprayed 4 coats of clear.

so for half rattle can job it turned out amazing,but would not look at all good with out those real clear sprayed
