The only lens I bothered carrying around Disney World was the 18-55 IS. 50mm might be a bit long unless you're shooting full frame.

Yeah, I used the 18-55 IS on my trip as well, but I had the 50 in LeeAnn's purse haha

I just dont want to lug around the 24-70 even though the reach would be nice, same with the quality, crap, I might have just talked myself into it...

50mm on a crop is somewhat long

28 is just about perfect

which, ironically, works out to about 50mm FoV on a 24x36mm frame
