You kind of came to the wrong place to ask this question. People here are enthusiasts and will recommend manual all day every day, including myself.

If you're not planning on going fast EVER, get an auto... lol

You got a v6 6 speed! I wish I could scream through town open pipe with your car lol

Are the 2.3L engines good. I own a 1998 Prelude right now, with a H22.

the 2.3L will be a downgrade from the h22 but take it from someone that made the mistake of buying a F23 auto... go with the 5spd

believe it or not i actually lost to a ford explorer off the line tryna merge onto the freeway... of course my 1st gear shifts late and hits the rev limiter but still... i couldnt believe it lol

Stay with your Prelude unless it's on it's last legs and is dying soon.

Then in this order :
1) Manual V6
2) Manual i4
3) Auto i4
4) Auto V6

Unless you are like me and your accord is your DD and you drive 40 miles (one way in bumper to bumper traffic) up the 405 freeway everyday to go to work... Then get an Auto i4...

It's that Prelude it's starting to get small, and I usually carry people with me and it's just way to small..oh and also it's automatic.
