I know there have been many topics with the same title, however upon searching for them and reading the description of other people's noises, mine doesn't sound the same.

I have two DIFFERENT noises/knocks and I'm hoping some of you may be able to help me diagnose what's wrong.

1. CLICKING - I've had my '02 for about three years now and since I bought it, it's made a clicking noise every time i go from REVERSE to DRIVE. It sounds like the clicks come from the back but i'm not completely sure. This has not affected me or the car in any way but no one has been able to tell me why it clicks.

2. KNOCKING - Just last week I noticed that I'll be stopped at a red light let's say and i literally feel two knocks below my foot on the driver's side. This does NOT happen whilst turning but only when I'm stopped and it happens sporadically. Again, i FEEL and HEAR two knocks below my foot on the driver's side when this happens.

I really hope some of you cats can help me out so I can let my mechanic know of the issue! Thanks in advance!

Look under your car for any loose exhaust pipes, loose heat shield over your cat. When you hear the sound go look under your hood and listen for the sound.

1) sounds normal

2) check the endlinks and suspension

Loose exhaust pipes and heatshields don't make clicking or knocking sounds. Cmon now, use your head. Getting as bad as lemon.

I'll have the endlinks checked out. I'm hoping to swap over to my coilovers soon and hopefully that should clear out the knocking noise. Does the clicking really sound to be normal though? :ohsnap:

check your motor mounts. i learned today that your motor can be knocking against your frame causing "knocking" noises.
