lol i live in miami,Fl and i have alot of connects in the performance parts here because i have alot of ppl in high places as friends so i get discounts that are crazy...as for labour my homeboy does all of my labour cuz he does that on that side....all he asks for is a 6 pack and 100 bucks and to help him(i.e, lift up the tranny into the engine bay,etc.)i coulda been boosted by next week but this has set me back....for some reason my shifter knob moves up and down but not side to side
i suspect either a popped linkage or blown clutch but i'll install the washers when we drop the tranny
i dont think its the clutch.
but it might be the shifter linkage cables, but wen did the swap, i ripped the little boot, so all my upper gears(1,3,5) would not go in. to get into first i would 1st have to put it into second then 1st and to get into 3rd i had to pout it in 4th first and i didnt have a 5th because i couldnt put it into reverse lol.
never had a problem with goin side to side, just getting into gear
u r so lucky that you have so many connections. its only me and my dad and some expensive mechanic.
i havent. i dont really see the point. to much of a hassel as well. but i do have the reverse lights hooked up
