If you have not used the duralast parts, take them back and get OEM cap and rotor. Its worth it.

to back up HondaLuver83, when i worked at autozone/strauss, people who i sold accord tune-up parts to would bring back the Duralast/Accel brand distributor rotor & cap, not sure why though.....i would be told that the car would misfire until they put the OEM back in.....either way glad it works though. i was always confused by that. hope my car makes it to 152k, congrats!

Yea duralast sucks. Napa has OEM parts for sale. I had to replace my alternator in my toyota avalon 3 times before, one dead master switch and a fried positive terminal later, I finally have one that works.

So you're telling me I can go down to Napa right now and buy a distributor cap and rotor with Honda stamped on it? You can buy some stuff like Denso and NGK, but good luck finding Sumitomo plug wires at Napa.

Yeah, our shop does not use anything but OEM for ignition parts. Hello misfires!
