i suggest you remove the pre muffler too

You'll still have the stock resonator intact.

I've always been a fan of my magnaflow system, no drone on the highway and I listen to a lot of NPR and stuff when I'm driving a long ways so if there was a loud drone I would notice it lol

I've got the full magnaflow catback, pretty loud compared to stock, but really deep and quiet compared to the 'ricer' sound. No rasp at all, silent on the highways, even with a test pipe.

yeah same question here. what is a pre muffler and what effect does it have on an exhaust system.

also if i just get the muffler and weld it on will it sound a lot different than a cat back. im just looking for a nice deep sound with no drone on the free way or nothing. will it be raspy at all? im into my audio more than hearing my exhaust=)

yeah, basically the same, but mine is the dual regular tip. no problems, no complaints really. My tone is really deep with the catback, test pipe, and stock header, but it's nowhere near that annoying raspy drone we always hear. The magnaflow sounds like a motor and not a lawnmower lol.

It does attract some attention from cops every now and then, but just don't floor it around them and they should leave you alone lol (at least in FL). They do hang a little low in the back, so that's something to look out for depending on how low you are, but that's probably the same for any exhaust u get. all in all, no regrets.

hey are the catbacks for the sedan able to fit on the coupes? i have a 00 coupe 4cyl.
