Unless Emii finds a shop that is willing to source all the parts for a 6spd swap, I don't see it happening.

That being said, FIND A SHOP THAT WILL DO THE ENTIRE SWAP FOR YOU. lol

I/H/E mandatory

and I have to agree go for a shift 6 swap.

autotragic will fail on you soon.

its only mandatory if you can put the power to the ground, which you can't do with the f23 (no power to put down) or the j30 because of its tranny

Well I applied for a loan, and I find out next week if I qualify. It'd only be around $5k, BUT that's enough for me!

Here's what I plan on getting:
Coilovers
Flowmaster exhaust
Headers
Headlights. I really want the black TYC projectors :skurred:
Tie rods cause I'm pretty sure mine suck.
New intake
Replace the top and lower grills
LED lighting on everything inside
Shorter E-brake and shifter :)
And maybe finally get my paint done.

Only issue is I can't decide if I want Ksport coilovers or F&F, if I should do a CAI vs. SAI, etc etc. Decide for me k? Thanks :D

you have nice mod list going but you should look into adding a full lip kit and maybe tint to your list.

Just my $0.02, if this were my car, before anything else i'd focus on getting her slammed and lip kitted all around. I wouldn't bother with the LED's, aftermarket shifter/handbrake. i think the scene has moved on from that type of modding. If you do mod your upper and lower grill, pls don't get the ebay mesh cover thing. Those things are effin' hideous!

TYC headlights can look good but they drastically hider lightout. You can get a pnp HID to compensate. I, personally would just stick to DIY blackhousing with a pnp HID kit, and save up for a real custom retro.

As far as ksport vs f&f, i've heard good and bad things about both brands, I'd say it's a draw in terms of performance/quality/reliability. If you can plan on keeping your car for a long time, your best bet is to get the one with the better warranty. (get AMR's if you have the $$ and can stomach the wait time)

The age old debate, CAI vs SRI. There is no definitive answer, both have their pros and cons. I'd go for SRI, they're usually cheaper, the filter is in a cleaner location, the filter is easier to access for maintenance. Whereas with a CAI, the risk of hydrolock, the increased amount of road debris, having to take off the bumper/fender liner to access the filter isn't worth the slight increase in hp you'll get from "cooler" air.
