Welcome to the site...

If you want to know what kinda of potential a 200k+ mile accord has, take a look at these... and dont be so quick to disrespect an entire community of people based on opinion. Imagine if a honda guy came on your subbie site and began talking crap about them; wouldnt go over very well now would it?

This is my 231,xxx miles accord. Currently in the process of doing a manual swap, engine swap and black leather interior swap. You would be surprised at the reactions I get when I tell people the mileage on the car.

And here is the most recent ROTM (Ride of the Month) poll thread. All accords over 200K miles...

lol I was surprised as well how far this thread went lol. Welcome man, I'm new as weel. My first automatic and yes, after 2 weeks, I still look at it and it makes ma sad inside. I've always owned standard cars. Came from the MR2 comuninity. But I am sure enjoying the car more and more evryday. Didn't think these grandma cars could look so good.

Nice, best MR2 yet. Its only lacking in the looks department lol I am a BIGGG fan of the first gen. Bought my first MR2 for $850. Original everything. Had the paper work of when it first came out of the Toyota lot. And the name of the very first owner and came with some inspection stickers from the 90's.

And best part of all, car was manufactured on August 1985.... Which just happened to be my birthday. (August 11, 1985)

Then calamity struck. I fell asleep behind the wheel. And in a fraction of a sec. It was over.

(Couldn't find the wrecked pics. Guess I deleted them...)

Anyways, play with what you got. Many times, although its not always true, people usually destroy there first car. Driving is not as simple as you think. You'll have to learn how to drive with idiots on the road. Mod it as your heart desires. Learn how cars actually work. Then when the time comes and you have money saved, you can buy your suby and wont have to start from scratch.

You will at least have obtain some road and mechanical knowledge. Subies are not cheap to repair or mod.

lol so true, at least I can truly make this car mine because I have the know how unlike most of the people I know in school who think they're awesome with there 08+ cars. Thing is I talked to dad about doing a manual swap and he said if I paid for it he doesn't car as long as I can go without a car for 4-5 days. but right no priorities are retrofit>aux in for stock HU(grr)>going to school> RSB upgrade> v6 rotors> tranny swap
