pssssh, i highly doubt the sophisticated interior of a production rally car is going to intice him his already nice TL.

are you crazy?
You dont buy an sti for its interior, its a rally car. And rally is very popular on the east coast.

Im still gonna say hes looking for an M3 because I remember him saying that's what he would replace his TL with a bimmer. I've thought about buying an M3 for years now.

Which one are you gonna go for? E36 or E46. I personally think the e46 is the best M3 out there, then the E36. You'll have fun in either that's for sure.

I have to disagree. In my opinion the e36 M3 is the last of the true Drivers M Cars. That and the e39 M5. After that, things just went to hell in a hand basket IMO. If I had a choice between a brand spanking new e36 M3, e46 M3 or e90 M3, I would take the e36 every time.

:lawl:

it was the weight issue imo

an E39 M5 in either that charcoal grey color or black is what I'm getting after college

Well the engine in the e46 is wayy more refined than the e36. I agree the smg was a mistake, although i think the e46 m3 CLS would be the drivers car out of that year of bmw. For 333hp at 7,900rpms, the e46 hauled *** at 3,200lbs with a proven top speed at 185mph after the limiter was removed.

you mean the CSL right? :lawl:

and it would be, if anyone could afford it for what it is.

which would be an incredibly overpriced for what it is race car.

Yeah csl.

I guess i just like the exterior style of a e46 more. I love both but something about the s54 engine is just special.

Well whatever, u cant go wrong. E36 or e46, both are badass.

I do hate the people that drive bimmers tho.

evo/sti owners have totally taken over the doucher title from BMW people...

plus the people who drive 15+ year old BMWs are enthusiasts for the most part, not the guidos that lease a new one every 5 years and think they're the ****.

THISSSSSSSS. That is one of the main reasons I wouldn't want an Evo or STi......almost every person that I have come into contact with is a douche and think they are a mad tyte rally driver. Which they aren't. That and both cars are completely unrefined IMO. The Evo and STi are simply rally inspired road car versions of Japanese econoboxes with more balls.
