UPDATE: I should be getting the car on Friday. I was wondering what are some of the first things I should do. I'm planning on getting an oil change and transmission fluid changed. I was thinking, what are the best ways to clean the interior? I just wanna make it look great.

What i would do is just do an oil/tranny fluid change, change to one of the highmileage oils suggested above in the thread. Also check the level of all the other fluids and top up as necessary. Fill up the tank to full, reset your odometer trip a/b and drive it...see how your gas mileage is and from there on you can decide if you should do a tuneup on it or not.

As for cleaning the interior...the best way would be a steamer for the cloth, and a soft brush and vacuum cleaner for dash/trim pieces.

The quick way would be a scrubber, a soft brush for the dash, some soap foam and a vacuum cleaner.

Sounds good. I'll definitely top off all fluids.

Additionally, check the brake pads and rotors for wear. And obviously the tires (tread life)/tire pressure. May as well check the air filter as well. I wouldn't use a brush on trim pieces if the car has woodgrain.

Thanks for the advice. Another quick question.. How is the stock audio in the SE model? Everything is stock including the head unit? And if it's not too impressive what is something relatively fairly priced and nice?

I think that is something you will have to decide on your own based on what you like. You can upgrade the headunit and the front/rear speakers...or even upgrade and get a sub/amp.
As for its stock sound, id say it leaves a lot to be desired.

When i bought mine there was a sale on Sony parts so i opted for a Sony headunit, and speakers for all four all at $300OTR, im happy with them.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to play with the sound too much, but I figured all stock wouldn't be anything amazing. Maybe I'll wait for a deal like you did.

Most people say the audio in these cars is nothing special. It probably isn't. But I feel like it's decent, though I'm no audiophile, lol. But going from a 4 speaker setup in my old car to the 6 speakers in my EX, it's good enough for me.
