I'll have the pictures once I get some good weather haha. On a side note my CD player was working on day one, but it no longer works. I put in the disc and it just ejects it every time. Should I buy a cleaner kit?

Not without knowing what the problem is. I'm guessing this is a single disc unit? I'd probably look for another. Or get a 6disc changer, I did that and it got me using CD's again, lol.

Yeah, it's a single. Is it a tough job to get the 6 disc changer in?

If you want a 6 disc, you would have to swap the whole head unit. If you replaced the head unit, I wouldn't get OEM as it doesn't utilize the full potential of the stock speakers like an aftermarket would.

6disc was a straight swap on my EX, steering wheel controls and all. I just personally don't like the way any aftermarket head units look in these cars unless they're full dvd.

So after some messing around it seems that the issue was the Gorillaz CD I was using. This is odd because it isn't even scratched and the car read it fine before. Oh well, I'm just happy I have some music :).

I'm not sure if this is appropriate to ask here but does anyone have Carfax on the forum?

I have another quick question. I purchased the Microbulbs for the clock and want to swap them in. However, I know the radio has a security code if the battery terminals are disconnected. Now, I have this code, when do I enter it?

And is the bulb change a straight swap, no soldering right?

What microbulbs did you get? From dealer or?
Shouldve just done led+resistor :p

And as for the radio code, you need to enter it IF you disconnect the battery terminals. You enter it on your radio i beleive.

And to remove the clock make sure you wrap whatever you're using in a cloth of something so you dont scratch anything and pry the clock unit from underneath and out it pops like a cherry.

I bought the regular bulbs from Radioshack. I found them in another thread, and went with them. I would have done the LED mod but I need the clock to be lit now, it's driving me crazy :)

Do I have to undo the battery to do this fix? Also, I'm pretty sure there is no soldering, just have to place the connections in line?

Thanks for the help.

I took the clock apart tonight and couldn't find a bulb anywhere. I was wondering if anyone could show me a picture of where it is? I literally took the whole clock apart :(
