Well one week left at the bike shop...kinda sad...ordered about 500 bucks worth of gear(Bibs, liners, baggy pants, jerseys, etc) and crap before I leave haha

I ride a trek 3500 when i go mountain biking and a stripped down optic when i do some Bmx street riding. you'll like the trails in TN

Stayyyyyyyyyy awayyyyyyyy from those old trek composite bikes. They WILL break on you. Look for something like a Specialized Langster, LeMond Fillmore, Trek Soho S, or any other major brand single speed. They will have dedicated single speed (horizontal) dropouts and slightly different geometry.

AllGOnoSHOW suggested that I should post my question here instead of in the > General > Off Topic > Smackdown section.


Is there anyone from the eastbay (California) that rides a bicycle and would like to meet up for occasional rides? I ride with a few friends about once a week. We're looking to meet more people who enjoys pedaling. All types of bikes and skill levels are welcomed. We usually start out in Oakland but we're definitely open to explore new routes. If anyone is interested and close enough to meet, send me a message.
