mid-atlantic late summa meet planning thread!

21st or 28th would be best for me as well. and we can either do the park tim and I were talking about or this new one you guys are all talking about. cause I don't know any of these parks hahaha. If sarah ends up coming I'll be bringing Portobello mushrooms to grill. that way she can have a burger too plus grilled Portobello's are my ****ttttttttt. So there's another option besides hot dogs burgers and sandwiches.

for whatever day we decide on I say plan to meet around 12-12:30 and start grillin around one. that way stragglers like me will be there by the time we start grillin.

lol... stragglers... i know nothing about that...

pretty much ANY park in the ffc parks and rec will have to be reserved if the grilling areas are shelters. i'm down for nottoway, but not down for having to pay for reservations again. burke was just easy. no reservations, just the fee to get in. if someone wants to research this nottoway place thats fine. but i'm unconvinced and still leaning towards burke.

ya thats why I was leaning towards burke. we just showed up and grilled so it was really simple.

mad props if he is driving up from the ATL. i don't have much time to go checking out this park. i say lets just do burke again. maybe we can have a fall meet at the other place. just my .02

as for getting there when you guys already had food... i'm pretty sure you were all pretty much done eating by then.

Yeah buddy. Just found out classes start Aug 22 if, I sign up for any, so that's perfect.
