try searching for a bit next time.. we've covered this topic indepth at least 3 times in the last few months.. and countless more random mentions. check your oil, check your solenoids. low oil causes vtec failure (due to the part you mentioned, VTEC oil pressure switch), and if oil is fine, the solenoid is very easy to check, just pop it out and make sure there's no gunk build up on it.

I have bad valve seals and my car eats oil like crazy. When the oil level gets too low it throws that code for me

sorry!!! i will next time, i havent checked the solenoid but the oil pressure fine when i was looking on the scanner is showed three problems: o2 sensors, cat, an something else. the sensors an cat is brand new but ill clean up the spool valve a see what happens then, i might just think about changeing the whole vtec solenoid system

Step 1: Make sure oil is not low AND make sure it is the right oil thickness for the car
Step 2: Make sure all valves are adjusted to factory specs
Step 3: Make sure there is continuity in the vtec oil pressure switch AND vtec solenoid

EDIT*
Damn lol solved the problem faster then I could post...

i was gonna post a DIY but it way to much to explain but yea its ready to roll. plain and simple: what i did was took the whole varible valve timeing system out, cleaned the spool valve, cleaned the oil pressure switch, and clean all the ports with brake cleaner then blew them all out with air till they were very dry. put on the new gasket with the screen (Part # 15825-POA-015) put it all back together an mechanics useally says "after earasing a code you need to drive it 50 miles fwy and city so the ecu will reboost an clear it self" so drove 71.5 miles (fwy and city) and came home and no check engine light
