why does bisi keep refering to H22/F20B series standard valve size.... ??
theboombopshop.com refers to the valvetrain component the same way so im lost with this F20B h22 interchangeable parts aside from the camshaft, cam gear, oil & water pump, tensioner and belt are the same...... nothing about the spring ,retainer and valves are the same?? but sites are advertising the parts?? is this false advertisement? cuz i know bisi wouldnt do that

i kno so why do Bisi,a whole load of websites advertise them " H22/F20B DOHC " valves for such n such...its just wierd. DO you have to call them and let them know that its for a specific motor meaning it will be for a F20B......

not the diameter, the actual stem i believe is smaller on the h22 valves. something about oversizing to fit the diam into the head, and they still just drop. like simon said, someone did a full teardown and rebuild and ran h22 valves, and some fell out after a month or so. again this is based on memory, from a while ago, actually a long while ago. im sure it would be hard to find the thread.

you have to understand that the heads arent the same, they are close, but the stamps are different. i dont know all the difference, just remember reading taht h22 valves have fallen out of f20b heads.

thats why i asked if you were using an h22 head in the pm. the preluderacing guy, built his f20b bottom end and used the h22 top end for his 700+hp boost build. there has to be a reason some of these guys are pairing an h22 head with the f20b bottoms.

And a H22 head bolts on a F20B block( i think thats useless but to each is there own ) without a problem or the same has to be done as to a h22 head goes on a F23 bottom with sealing one of the oil or cooling holes ... idk im not sure

F20B valves are smaller than H22 valves. Its all over Honda-tech

ok so if they are smaller, how does a h22 valve fall when placed on a f20B head, i would have thought that they get stuck but fall?? unless i dont understand how valves are placed or operate appropriately

Clutchkicker, where are you finding Eagle rods in F23 specs??? Please enlighten me. I thought the only OEM-spec rods for the F23 are Crower, and they cost a fortune. Please tell me otherwise, I'll def give rep if you can point me in the right direction for stock-spec rods through another manufacturer at a reasonable price!
