im not saying its the best im just saying that it shouldnt be harmfull for your car no matter how "bad" people think it is. Costco is a BILLION dollar company there is no way they are going to risk losing that over not following nation wide gas standards. I believe some people dont maintain their cars properly then want to blame things on gas or oil or other things like that.

valid analogy, but is it chicken salad? lol

As for chevron, Its probably a placebo effect:jarred:
I'm pretty sure it's true. All the stuff they don't filter out, is getting put into that gallon your paying for. So now your ratio that could've been 1 part filth and 9 parts pure fuel, can now be like 3 parts filth and 7 parts fuel. The mpg is going to be worse with the gas that isn't filtered as well right?

My favorite gas is SUNOCO they even have high octane gas at a lot of their locations but guess what, gas prices have gone up so i can no longer afford it and now ive been getting my gas at costco for over a year and have had no problems at all but ive sure saved hundreds of dollars.
I'm sure Costco isn't harmful to your car, mpg might be a little less, but not significant. I'm just content with Chevron because it's just my personal choice. I feel like i'm getting what I pay for.

The gas that I'm referring to as being harmful to your car, are these CHEAP mom and pop stores down the road. The ones with the old pumps that don't even have a card slot. There is more than likely gunk built up in their tanks and lines that are from WWI :lawl:
I stay away from the run down mom and pop gas stations. :eh:

Does anyone know the quality of Valero gasoline?
I like to use it because it was "all american" or so I heard when they bought out Diamond Shamrock but now I have my doubts
