Not alot.. Sorry for the double post as well. *Noob at work*

Not a lot isn't really an answer to the question. What is your budget? Have you factored in the cost of installation? alignment you'll NEED afterwards?

Also how low are you planning on going?
Tein Basic/Basis/SS will not slam your car but will keep it somewhat comfortable still.
FF1/2/2.5s are somewhat stiffer and can go as low as too the ground and only as high as about a finger gap all around. (Same applies to KSports etc)
If you're going with springs only or sleeves(i'd pick ground control over what you've mentioned) consider the fact that its a good idea to pair them with shocks such as tokico blue/illumina and if you can Koni Yellows...since putting them on stock/oem shocks will only mean you'll have to do the work all over again when the blow.

I have almost enough right now to buy the FF1's, as for installation and alignment, my mechanic says he'll do it dirt cheap (for me) and I don't plan on going very low, just low enough to close up the monstrosity of a wheel gap. I'd like atleast a finger gap all around. I'll actually drop the car after paint. Thanks for your help.

Once you have coilovers you will always want to go lower. My car is no finger gap and is about 23", I'm still not satisifed and I'm dropped to the lowest setting on my Koni and ground control set up. If I had to do it all over again, I would have just save money and bought some type 2's, k sport, or spend a little more and get some 2.5. But I still do love my shock+sleeve combo.

I'll see when it finally comes down to that.. Lol, I'll have it at a finger gap for a while see how it is, if I don't scrape anything at all, I'll try my luck and go lower and lower until... BAM! Lost my exhaust. :badger:

the skunk2 sleeves and koni yellows would be a good pair... or you could get ground control sleeves and have a really good setup. the build quality of a ground control and koni yellow setup is just as good, if not better than most full coilovers that people get for our cars. The only problem is that it limits the amount of adjustability available to you.

Full coilovers are great but aren't the be all, end all of suspension setups. Do what works in your budget but do not just get lowering springs. they are a waste compared to the price you can get coilovers for.

I've said that I'm settling for the FF1's a few times already.. lol, thanks for your input though.

oh haha, you only said that you almost had enough money for them. didn't know you settled on them. anyway, good luck with the setup. I love my Type II's.

Thanks! And I might just end up trying to go half and half on the cost for them. After all, my uncle still owes me a Christmas gift. Bwahaha, lol.

So, why not go half and half on the cost of the F2's, if you be a bit patient and continue saving?
