Re: Dynamat

Looks good!! I used about 300 square feet of Raammat the last time I redid the install in my Accord. That's something I'm glad I won't have to redo ever again!

Re: Dynamat

How much did it cost Lashlee? I was thinking getting two roll's of Raamat witch is about 80 square feet and then 56 Square ft of Ensolite. I talked to Rick alittle bit awhile back but only to do the doors and trunk.

Re: Dynamat

I don't even remember. I changed H/U, processor, redid wiring, added techflex to everything as well as using 3 rolls of Raammat on top of what was already in there. I did everything, even the underside of the dash and the metal underneath the dash. Rick is a great guy, and will give you alot for your money. I can't remember how much ensolite that I used, but that sounds close. I did the doors, floors and trunk floor. I figured out that ensolite makes a great tool box drawer liner too! All of my extensions and screwdrivers now stay put!

Re: Dynamat (UPDATE 4/9/12)

do you notice a difference whether the subs are facing in or out? Ive heard facing them out towards the rear (opposite of yours) is better for air travel in a trunk. Other reason for asking is i think i have the same box and subs and my car rattles like a ***** so i always have to turn them down to -12.

Kicker CVR's 500 rms a piece pushing it with a 1800 watt MONO amp, and she hits boy, damn does she hit. And its so much bass i hadd to turn them around. It all depends on where the port on the box is located.(the cut out where air flows and bass waves do too)Mine is directly on the side and its 8 inches wide. The subs forward look way better too. but the reaseon i did it was that it DID help make less vibration in the trunk.

Nice work with the Dynamat, looks really good.

You did the doors as well?

I assume you have noticed a reduction in road noise?
