^Exactly what those two said.

And you usually don't get a comment on having no front plate unless you're doing other illegal stuff like speeding or driving with an expired tag.

It's really not rocket science. :lawl:

I just tell the officer the plate holder broke off, since I can't mount it to my bumper without "modifications"
You can just say someone backed into your car and broke the mount, and that you're waiting on a new one in the mail. And just keep the front one in your trunk.
Small town. I could get away with it for a month or two but I'd eventually run into the same cop. I'll ask the local guys their thoughts and experience with said modification and local PD.

Listen you... :flipoff:

I don't usually speed. When I do its no more than 10 over. Most speeds around here are 35 and 45 so I drive accordingly. Consequently, such speeds don't allow for cracking of one's VTAK. Thus, on occasion, one is found operating ones vehicle at WOT but only up to the posted limit.
As legal as this action may be, it still gains the unwanted attention from law enforcement. Thus drawing attention to ones lack of front plate.

Yeah. Plates suck altogether. I don't care either way but with my luck, I'd get busted the first day and I wouldn't get a warning. I'm asking local guys first, lol.
