How do i clean/polish my ss header

I'd just get a polishing wheel for a drill or die grinder and see if you can make any progress on them. Coating it is going to be far less time consuming, it will stay looking good though. It will obviously cost more, i think around $50 to send it out somewhere.

Jet-Hot's prices are nowhere even close to that, not even for the cheapest coat. I think that is $165 alone.

Really, i could have sworn it was cheaper. I was going to do the stock manifold on my talon, i could have sworn it was cheaper than that. Otherwise i wouldn't have even concidered. Defineatly could be wrong though, or maybe it's gone up in price over the years.

I wouldn't recommend it. I know alot of people who have tried to paint their heat shields black and it really dulls over time, even if it's flat, it gets all faded. Even with that high of temp paint. It's always worth a shot, you could just strip them and coat them if it doesn't work but i doubt anything in a can will give amazing results.
