alright so im really close to being able to drop my car, BUT im not in to all that racing/touge.. I just want the clean lowered look. Ive been searching all of the internet to find how/ what i need. I'm sure all of you have seen those $80 or whatever adjustable coils (not with struts) and i was wondering, is it worth it just for looks? i mean i can take it in to a shop and have them do it real quick. I'm sure 99% of you will just say "ahh no dude just buy the $1000 set up vTec yo jdm shizz that'll be tight", but im ballin' on a budget :D

so yeah this mighht be an idiotic post to most of you, just tell me if i can do it. I'm probably going to get a camber kit too soooooo yeah.

any input is appreciated, but try not to be a.. well, mean person :action-smiley-042:

eBay coils, eBay ride....

If you just want to lower your car, maybe get some wheels in the future, just go ahead and get some entry level coilovers for a few more hundred than you would pay for chitty eBay coils and install them yourself. We all have to start somewhere.

Choose the rice path, or the "I care about my automobile" path.

Ebay sleeves and your struts will blow within a month and have fun with all that bounce.

Sure buy them, just don't drive your car.

You get what you pay for. Simple as that.

do it right the 1st time and buy full coilovers. dont be itchy and anxious and buy cheap ebay coils for a quick cheap drop. you'll like how it looks 1st, then you drive it everday and realize how horrible ride quality is. imo dont waste a dollar on ebay coils. just cut your springs for free for now and save for full coils lol.

I will admit, I went the ebay coils...dont. do. it.

Then, I went with Sportlines/Koni Yellows.

Now, planning to go with full coils.

I would recommend you go with full coils or a Ground Control/Aftermarket Strut setup from the get go. Save yourself the headache of upgrading later.
