HID's Questions and Concerns

I went ahead and did the HID's 3000k on my fogs. I will post a picture later on today. Now I just need the 5000k headlights to get here

Ooo .. I got 55w 4300k in my FX-R retros and 3000k 35w in my civic fogs .. I light up the road like the sun I can see if I can take a pic if you want But yeah, I don't think cops hassle you for that crap nowadays.

your really really really over thinking all this just relax dude lol... its just plug and play like said before... you can mount the ballast anywhere u want near the headlight, you can get the mounting brackets and just screw it in to the frame part rite above the headlight (thats what i did), or if you dont want the brackets just ziptie em to something around there which most ppl do.

oh and if you get 55W im pretty sure you need a relay so it wont burn your wires, 35w is safe. dont go over 6K

Yeah, I figured that out. I went with 35W 5000k's. Im sorry for asking another question, but did you take your bumper off? Just wondering.

And yeah 55W is to much, your low beams only pull 51W (in my 99') and that would probably mess something up with the wiring harness.

I live in socal .. ive been running HIDs for 5 years .. 55w for 1 year in retrofits. No harness btw.

I've got hassled 3 times already! "Are these factory?" "Do these lights comply with the factory code?" All bs hahaha
