Driving down the road and heard a noise from the rear of the car between 65-75mph. I think my wheel bearing might be going out. Anyone have a clue? Its like a high pitched roaring noise. But i only hear it between 65-75mph.

Are you sure it's the whole power steering? I had a whining and clicking, as well as a lot of foam in the reservoir. Took it a part a little to find that the little screen in it was clogged. Cleaned it, fixed the problem perfectly. Don't know if that's your situation but just an idea.

Yea im sure. :GoesIntoDetail

My pulley near the pump is shaking a bit and when I put fluid in the reservoir it completely leaks all in the engine bay. Its especially wet on the serpentine belt. So my guess and my mechanics guess is the pump. Will be getting a new belt and O-ring

Yeah that's a completely different situation haha. In that case, $75 to do it is a good price. I was going to replace my timing belt and water pump. Ended up asking my dad to do it. I have the resources, just not the time, to do it. So even though I wanted the experience, just didn't do it lol. From what he told me it was pretty easy, if you know exactly what you're doing. Otherwise I would imagine it would be difficult. Especially the tight areas... Very small engine bay haha

Yea I think im just going to do it myself that $75 would look better in my hands lol. I was thinking of just taking the pump off in the meanwhile til I get the new pump but not sure if thats a good idea, so I can get rid of the ticking :hide:

Dern. Yeah. I figured it might be that. Looks like that's another item to add to the repair list. Lol. I need to hurry up and get my suspension set up right. I wish I didn't fall behind on my rent. I would have had it done by now. My next check I'm gonna see about getting something done. This is killing me.

I still gotta buy a ballast for my HIDs. One of those went out. so right now I'm running one OEM bulb and one HID. And the way its flickering, it seems like that ballast is gonna go out too.

Yeah man. Like next month I have to give my landlord $1160 of the 1800 I make to get caught up on rent. Then I have $350 I give my girl for my cell bill and car payment. So that leaves me with $300. But I'm getting it right tho. I've come to terms that ill be broke most of next month. That's the thing that gets some people. They gotta have too much to live on. I'm at my place by myself and I'm a store manager of a fast food place. So I don't need much food. Lol. Its mainly gas. If I can keep like $120 I'm good till hlthe next payday.

That wheel bearing tho...yeah. searching for good prices on that now. Don't want that going bad on me going down the highway.

I looked at it sitting all sad and dirty on the hill when I pulled into the shop this morning lol. I may pull the head off at lunch today and get it down to the machine shop. I've just been too lazy.
