Not because of limp mode

Are you sure? Because I didn't think the leak would cause that much vibration and just an overall "something just doesn't feel/sound right" feeling.

Thought it was a combination but maybe not. Out of curiosity how much does a new oxygen sensor cost?

Depends where you get it, $75 to $140 would be the typical range I'd say.

Guess I won't say I'm sure, but limp mode really only limits your revs and no vtec. The car should still drive normally under normal driving conditions from what I've read.

Drove a slammed 91 Accord today.

I'm now pretty sure I don't want a slammed car. Ever.

It rubbed and squeaked on everything. I know watching for dips, potholes, and things like speedbumps and driveway entrances but this was ridiculous. I was scraping on variances in the road itself. Those are almost impossible to see. It was tucking tires, on 15s, so it could've come up a bit but holy cow.

I know why people say low is a lifestyle but that was too much. I got back into my 6G and felt like I was in a luxury car, lol. I'll stick to my 1 finger gap. :lawl:

Okay. So I installed my new cat and cat back today. Couldn't get the o2 sensor out of the old cat, so in running without one since technically I can't drive anyways. Test drove it around my neighborhood, everything was perfect. Drove a across the street to work, .75 miles never exceeding 35 mph, everything is fine. Obviously my check engine light is one from having no oxygen sensor in, so it's heading towards limp mode but it isn't quite there yet. Drive to the bank for my boss, and instantly it's running rough. Determined that there's an exhaust leak between the flex pipe and the cat. Not a big deal. But the car is running rough and like ****. I'll have the o2 sensor in by tomorrow or tonight anyways. Not really worried about anything since I'm not driving too far anyways. My question is, is it running rough because its in limp mode, or something to do with the leak?

So....you completely unplugged the o2 sensor?

Car was parked at work. And a fellow soldier(officer) hit my car with his truck. Said he turned to quickly and ripped the front bumper off. So we came to an agreement, staying away from insurance company. And he's getting it primed and painted fresh white this week. My paint was ugly up front anyways lol.

should have told him spray your eyelids lol
