i saw ur pic with all the snow. looks sick!!
im doing my footwells this weekend. so for the led strips you think i could tap into the amp remote wire and just ground it somewhere under the dash? will that have enough juice for the two strips??

Yep. LEDs need almost nothing. Remote wire is plenty.

do you think it would be annoying at night if it was always on (no switch)
i saw that your switch had 3 wires coming out of it was two for the circuit and one that grounded the switch?

Yeah. One ground to illuminate the switches led when its on.
And it's not annoying but I'd still advise to have it on a switch. However. What is annoying is the led on the switch.. So I may be swapping it out for one without an indicator light.
