Hey there, I noticed that my car isn't getting the right performance. It's sluggish when I first put it in gear or in low rpm. I've driven other accords and mine just doesn't feel the same. It's a 4 cyl. ulev engine MT..
I recently replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor.
Compression read about 180 on all four cylinders. Oh and btw the check engine light is NOT on..
I don't know what else what to check. Can it be clogged exhaust or maybe needs a valve adjustment? Please advise me on what to check next. Thanks

I would say take off the valve cover but then you would have to, should at least, replace the seal...

I don't seem to hear any type of exhaust leaks. And my car takes forever to pick up speed. Can it be an O2 sensor?

If there's no CEL's and you've kept up with maintenance then it's all in your head.

IACV? Is it only when first taking off? Does it sputter at first then feel like it picks up instantly? Are you secretly hoping you drove something awesomer?
