^ It's Daniel...Mikey if that's your real name :)
Yeah I can do that sometime in the next couple of months.
I don't usually go that way too often for vacations but I will have to find a reason to make it down to Tunica soon and could check them out. Now there is a waterfront park downtown that we could check out sometime but I am not sure of the rest of your parks are going to be near the river though. Plus the river is pretty nasty looking anyways.

I will do my best to try and check out the places sometime soon.

Now I am just speculating this, but I think this would be a good location for the meet.

Again, I don't live here (just to re-iterate this)

But here we have the river on both sides (hopefully it looks nice), a bridge (it got cut out of the pic), quite a bit of parking, and looks to have potetial. And it has a museum there, so I'm assuming this is the educated part of town lol. We would have to clear it with these people, but I think this location is nice.

And I am using Google Maps for this

The link above doesn't exactly show where everything is, but that link gives you the general location. It makes you do a bit of searching

Mud Island Park. Looks pretty sweet. Does this count as recon...? :lawl:

Riverside lots at the south, mid, and north ends of the park. South end of the island going north...

A little further North are some nice roads, a small airport and this sweet police impound!

Not sure if we'd have to get ahold of some kind of parks & rec people or city planner or if we could just roll in and park. The lot furthest North looks to be the largest.

As far as city parks and rec... if there are 75 people or more we would have to put down a deposit. No matter what, there are no adult beverages allowed and grills are park equipment is first come first serve. I am going to professional about it and talk to Rhonda at p&r anyways to see if we could get a parkinglot coned off or something and some grills booked to use. It really depends on if we all want to get Memphis BBQ delivered instead of cooking ourselves. Idk, I want this meet to be big but small so we can all go eat together somewhere and hang out afterwards. The actual meet is only gonna be from like 10-4 or so on a Saturday so people can get there own breakfast that day.. Idk thoughts?

The lot is first priority. If we cant get grilles, so what. We can either bring our own or go to a place to eat. If we can get grilles, then go for it.

Are we doing any kind of cruise or is that too difficult to plan from far away?

It's not impossible but it would be tricky. I think it would be fun to meet from like 9-3 then cruise to one of the spots near by that Daniel was talking about to go get food!
