Okay guys this is my second thread on this subject. Hopefully more feedback this time. My car is still throwing the CEL for code P1259 (vtec malfunction). Nope, no surging idle. Vtec engages when the engine is cold, not sure if that clarifies anything.- Newfoundlander

Engine Code P1259 Vtec Malfunction
Hey guys, this is my second accord but first time encountering this problem. Now, I've made sure that there was enough oil in the crank case and it's 5w-20.
