what about going in from the bottom instead of the top?
on mine the bottom and top popped off and eventually, so did the back. (the back was thicker to provide heat dissipating properties for the amplifier ic's)
dont try to takee the bottom off till you pop the faceplate off. on mine the...
if I had your radio with the tape player, I woulld cut into the wires coming from the tape head or somewhere in there.
mine just has a cd player.
if it's made by matsu****a/panasonic it should be similar enough to have the same radio module though. as I said before th scematic I pointedf to...
pk50 is the radio module on the board I explained about. Solder the red and white wires (from your headphone/3.5mm cable/jack) to those two pins you mentioned on the board.
dont listen to that guy..poineer may make decent tv's and head units but i was never impresseb by their amps or subs...ditto for kenwood.
does the phrase "you get what you pay for ring a bell"?? If you wanna go cheap go ebay some used old school orion subs. my vote is for old school orion amps...
I have never heard of vb gallery, is this some other feature of the vb bulletin board software? I'll lokk into it.
In any case you definitely have issues with the file quotas man. SOmeone should look into that. I wanted to up the jpg and the zippped pdf here mainly cause I know externaql...
The expensive adapter im referring to plugs into the factory cd players cd changer input (if the radio came with one), and then allows you to plug an mp3 player into that. The adapter does special junk to make the cd changer input actually turn on and think there is a changer on the other end...
as a note this is my last post in my other thread copied over, but i wanted sopmeone to be able to find this info by searching and this info was buried in another thread w/out a relevant title
I tried uploading to this board but the file size quota's are jacked up. I shrank the jpg down to...
I tried uploading to this board but the file size quota's are jacked up. I shrank the jpg down to 40k and it still said i was 60k over quota..bs since the page says 90kb is the limit but whatever.
the image is above and I'll try to up the pdf i got it from.
That schematic does not mirror...
I did manage to make an aux input into this stereo. I ended up hijacking the signal thats supposed to come from the radio going into volume control and then the internal amp.
The way I did it was just solder 6 ft 3.5mm cable to it. I was thinking though of just getting a 3.5mm jack with the...
I'm actually now considering just gacking an input onto the stereo by cracking it open and soldering some rca inputs to the internal amps input, it will also have the cd output going down the same line, so the things i've seen to solve this on the net is either insert a cd upside down, or...
i believe he is referring to the clear vinyl "skins" you put over cd's to keep from getting scratched. they're meant to be left on the cd when you play it. the only drawback being they themselves get scratched, and they aren't cheap. (and obviously don't work too well in a slot loader)
I...
I have bad enough ground clearance riding at stock height. I feel sorry your you "lowriders" ...
I guess thats the price you pay for being the coolest kid on the block though.. I'm happy enough with just my wheels at stock height.
Instead of dropping these cars imho its better to just get...
that looks a lot smaller than what I've been seeing. The ones I see have big honkin boxes attached to them
I never bought into the whole ipod fad. to be honest I don't like the looks or ui.
I own a sansa e250 and I put rockbox on it. rockbox is the only way to go. I think some of the newer...
I have seen the plugs you're referring to, however I'm not so sure that honda's is round as well. Not from what I could tell looking at the adapter. AFAIK It's just another square/rectangular set of about 13 pins next to the others.
In any case. Those aux input converters are definitely the...
