Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well. New member from PA. Hoping to keep track of little things I do to the car. For now it's a daily with the 4at so no turbos yet.
This is Ada, my 1999 EX Accord Coupe.

125,000 miles. The interior is perfect, and the exterior is decent with the unfortunate rear fender rust that is all to common in Pennsylvania. Rockers look decent but I'm hoping to do some prevention before winter. Underside looks fairly decent for what it is.
Got this car to replace my beloved 2017 civic that met an unfortunate end at the hands of a drunk driver this January. So far I only have a few problems requiring immediate attention.
1: Transmission. Because of course the transmission needs work. Already changed the fluid once and it immediately is way better, and continues to get better as I drive it. Getting ready to do it again, and planning to test all of the solenoids as well as see if any of the sensors need cleaned. Worst case scenario I run over to the u-pullit and put together a manual swap.
2: Fuel Tank. 2 for 2 with the accord issues so far. It leaks from somewhere, probably the seams. Gonna do research on any good quality replacements and or how to fix the tank I already have. Aware of how in depth doing work on the that is gonna be.
3: Exhaust. At some point somebody stole the cat off this car. Not to worried because I have room in the budget for a new one. Need the downpipe and probably a flange for behind the car. All stuff I can do. Again. Used parts where I can, new where I can't.
But yeah. Happy to be here. Always love these forums for the knowledge they provide. While I'm not new to Hondas this is my first "90's Honda" and I'm quite enjoying working on it so far. All in all, not bad for an $800 car! Thanks for reading.
