Questions about a roof rack

I think I have a Yakima Q-Tower set, but idk, it says no where on it and I bought it ~5 years ago (used, for a 91 Civic sedan ). I need a roof rack to haul my bicycle, and it's nearly free, so why not I'll see if it fits

But where do you put the brackets?

Like how far from the windshield and rear window, in inches (or centimeters)?

I'll update later about how I made it fit, if I can make it fit!

Well it is Yakima, but apparently an SST set. Which was discontinued in 1997...

So theres no clear answer on how to make it fit. But I'll use what info I have (thx again!), and a hammer, to see if I can! It is a nice looking set, but ~20 years old!

Ha, I guess I'll keep this updated as I make progress

So far I made new cross bars from 1" steel conduit tubes.

post up some pics of it. I had a q-tower system and it was okay but useless if you didnt get the extension kit for it. But then again i have a coupe.
