    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Thank you for offering. After I saw your response yesterday, I thought about this more when I was (trying) to go to sleep and when I was getting ready this morning (/r/shower thoughts ? Lol) and when I was driving on I-385 this morning to my shop -- I felt the accel pedal physically move while I...

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Crap. I just remembered that I was about 80% writing some more about this but I wound up receiving a phone call and got distracted. Looks like you got a few further than I did though. Cool stuff. If you are using the AEM EMS then you do not need the extra sensor that's on the CLS transmission...

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Have you ever seen the instructions for the Hasport K-series mounts in an EG? and how you need to take the right side bracket off the chassis, and then drill / mount a plate thing? It's been a few years since I've seen it.

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

All you have to do is get everything mounted except for that, and then you can make something with scrap steel metal, a grinder and a drill. I wound up doing this in 2006 when I was doing my F2D swap in my '94 Civic hatch (custom geared D trans, F20B). I went to a metal fabrication shop that I...

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Hey, sorry I didn't see this until now. My 6th gen Accord wound up getting totaled on Feb 26, 2019. Someone pulled out right in front of me and I plowed into their car at about 45mph. I was fortunate to only receive black/blue bruises on my chest/shoulder from the seatbelt, and my shoulder was...

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Check my latest reply. Post #4. I use 2017-2020 Mini Countryman rotor, which is 330x24mm and fits great. You will have to make a one time purchase of $25 for 4 hubcentric rings and about $8 in hardware. I don't even have to modify the rotor. It just fits on with the adapter rings.

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

I know that this is ~4 years old. However, this leaves me to believe that you've also got the same Rotora brake kit. If so, this thread contains valuable information on how to replace the consumable parts (pads + rotors) using readily available, off the shelf parts...

Despite the fact that I've been a member here for over 6.5 years, I've got to get to 100 posts to lift my restriction of being able to send a PM. Ridiculous.

If you decide that you want to get rid of that M2F4 0.871 5th gear, please lmk. I did something similar. F23A1 trans, h23a1 3rd/4th/final drive. JDM F22 0.787 5th gear. http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49310

Got most, if not all of the parts to do the swap. But I'm almost done with my research on how to make the gearing of the transmission better. And no, I'm not just talking about the final drive.

Is the Euro R steering rack a quicker ratio?

I'm not salty. But this does confirm my previous remark from 2016.... I'm not sure why you're mentioning the age of the vehicle here. What difference does that make? Last I checked, this was 6thgenaccord.com. A web-forum that specializes in the specific generation of Honda Accords from...

That's inane. If there's anything you should be mad/jealous about, is that you've been here ~9 years longer than I have, and have ~9000 more posts than I do. Yet I'm proving you wrong.

Is the Euro R steering rack a quicker ratio?

From the service manuals: 6g Accord I4 16.09:1 3.11 LTL 6g Accord V6 15.77:1 3.05 LTL 99-03 TL Base 16.09:1 3.11 LTL 99-03 TL Type S 16.08:1 2.88 LTL For the CL, I've got the factory service manual in front of me and this is what it says. But I don't think that the ratios...

Is the Euro R steering rack a quicker ratio?

The Acura CL/TL has a faster rack, that does work on our cars. I am not sure if we need to use the rear subframe from the CL/TL that the steering rack bolts onto. But it's definitely a lower ratio. CL/TL uses the same lower control arms and steering knuckles as all 6g Accords (I4 and V6).

    J32A2 + 6MT swap in my '01 F23/H23 5MT chassis

Looks like the front sub frame is similar enough to the automatic version. The one from the manual trans is a bit rusted in the junkyard. There's only 1 hole that holds some mount for the transmission. Easier for me to just grind off the paint and weld a small plate onto the subframe (if I even...
