    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

thanks! both nuts on one side are currently loosened, but i can't get them all the way off. it should be enough clearance to get a cutting wheel in there and hack off the bolt. the other side i didn't even try. hopefully i can just get them to screw off like they're sposed to...

    Quick resonator question

in the stock config the "snorkel" pulls air in from behind the grill. with the resonator removed the airbox sucks air in from behind the bumper. in either config. there is NO WAY that you're going to hydrolock, unless you drive through 2-3ft deep water!

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

since these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140111291909 come with both bolts, i think i'll just chop the old ones off and replace it all :D how much did you pay at the dealer? MSRP looks like $30 each!

    some pics i took today

did you change your screen name? haha let's just say i was VERY impressed what a cheap, point and shoot, 4-5 year old camera can do! and i was just standing and holding the camera (i had used a tripod for other shoots).

Acura TL sway bars on Accord

try a google search. it's been done several other places as well. (since i'm not racing) for the price it's a no-brainer over the comptech (IMO)

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

thanks! very helpful info! i was pretty sure it would have to be a destructive removal. since mine are partially loose, i think i can just cut the bolts in half with a sawzal and everything should fall out....right?

I'm back guys with bad/good news ad a new engine build thread

that's how much i paid for my engine when i swapped. only 35k miles, f23's are cheap! nice power/time for an NA build with nitrous!

    Quick question about Engine Oil.

my car was consuming a LOT of oil when i got it. 145k miles and it would go through a quart in a couple hundred miles! i tried 10w-30 and even seafoamed it but nothing helped (and seafoam did NOT make it worse). needed a timing belt, head gasket, and possibly piston ring, so i just had...

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

i think i was wrong and it's actually #6 and #7 at this link: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&catcgry1=Accord&catcgry2=1999&catcgry3=4DR+LX&catcgry4=KA5MT&catcgry5=REAR+LOWER+ARM and i think the bolts are permanently attached to the links, so i...

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

anyone have pics of the bolts removed? i'm worried that i'm gonna cut them and then half the bolt will still be stuck in. i might need the "torque thing" described above, to get them out. i just missed out on the eibach sway bar (23mm!) for $100 on v6p :( i'm thinking of getting the...

    aftermarket Shift knobs....

i've been trying to figure this out for a long time now. i have a pspec knob, and ordered a pspec boot but it hasn't arrived yet. -in the meantime i have gone collar-less in many forms. (including ripping out all the stitching and cutting up the boot to try and make it shorter) -i've...

New registrations need to be approved now: feedback

since it seems image verification isn't possible (without more money), i would just try #1 for now. i would think that'll stop most bots from spamming us. IF that's not working then try the mod/admin verification. as stated before, when people register they want to be able to post right...

    loose endlinks bolts (stripped)

two of my endlink bolts are stripped (the 5mm hex key part is rounded out). so the connections are pretty loose. both of the bolts are on the same side. i tried clamping on to the threads but could not hold tight enough. i also tried slotting out the bolt and using a flat head to get...

    powering the amp

yep, there will probably be cancellation due to the different response characteristics of each woofer. but it's not going to damage anything (assuming they're wired properly)

I'm back guys with bad/good news ad a new engine build thread

if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you? i don't think i was registered when you posted before, but i seem to be missing something: f23 + ??? = 350whp ??? = turbo, spray  whatever it is, that's a ton of power and i'm sure it really fun to drive!

    Is anyone running Optima Battery???

red top is not a deep cycle, and the yellow top is. if you're going to use it with a large stereo system, the yellow top is the one you want. if you just look at the physical dimension of the battery you can find one that should fit without and major modifications. if you pull out the...
