    Formula One

So, any F1 fans here? The first race of the season happens today, the Australian Grand Prix. I'm so stoked, this season's gonna be cool :D . It's gonna be an epic battle between Ferrari and McLaren all year from the looks of qualifying.

Tire has a mind of its own

Hehe, that video reminds me of this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tMJ8U-2ZMU, but that one is way cooler :) .

    Strut Bar

    It should fit nicely.

    Inspired.

Stickers seem to be a touchy subject for most on here :) . It's a personal preference thing for me. I make stickers like that as a very small part of my business, and for those who want stickers on their personal cars, I still try to steer them towards more low key and subtle things. As for...

    2.0 1999-2002 JDM Accord bhp & torque

Werd. That front bumper is nice. Any more info on it? It's not an OEM piece, is it?

    Neuspeed or ST Sway?

Should maybe get another alignment after installing sway bars?

    floor bar

The Arospeed floor bar? It doesn't seem to have specific applications, so it could be one of those generic ones that adjust to fit in any car.

    Carshow at my college

Sure looks like it. I didn't know they had an open top version.

    Suspension Set Up

No, I mean 1 and 2. The ride I get on level 2 is so-so, but it's downright terrible on 1. Gotta have enough damping force to control the springs, otherwise, you just bounce all over the place :) .

    Suspension Set Up

If you're really concerned about ride quality, just go for the Tokico Illumina shock/spring combo kit mentioned earlier. As long as you stay away from the 1 and 2 settings on the shock, it's very comfortable on the street.

    fav scratch remover

Dual action cleaner polisher, #83 in the Meguiar's mirror glaze line. It's good stuff, but it's meant mostly for use with a machine. And Autopia's a great site with a good bunch of guys. It's where I learned most of my detailing skills from.

99 accord 4 cyl tranny problem

It really sucks for us 4 cyl's with autos, I don't think our cars were part of any of the recalls. I had a small bit of a problem with the 2nd to 3rd shift slipping a bit after I had changed the tranny fluid. I changed it again back to Honda's ATF-Z1, and am seeing that the problem has been...

    fav scratch remover

DACP is awesome. I've fixed bad scratches and paint defects, and have buffed wet sanding marks back up to a gloss with it.

    Think your Accord's a 4x4?

Hehe, this thread's turning into a mini-me thread. On that note, anyone know if anyone has ever made a plastic model of our 6th Gen's in 1/24th scale or so?

    Mugen Headquarters...Pics (56k)

Hehe, the formula engines are works of art. You'd just need a team of engineers to rebuild them every few hundred miles or so, but you'd have a 20,000 rpm redline... :D

    Think your Accord's a 4x4?

Check out that wheelgap :D . I've had this for some time, and I found it again as I was going through my old stuff. The wheels are 2.2 inches, and it's a 1/10th scale car, so I guess I'm rolling on 22's. And no it doesn't run too well with the 6th gen body on, but I had to get the shell and...

buyer/seller feedback thread is the worst format ever!

I'll second this. One of the forums I go to also has a moderator in charge of their feedback forum. Everytime someone posts in a member's feedback thread, the mod goes and changes the title to reflect the new feedback score. So someone with 2 positive feedback, 1 negative feedback and no...

If you go by how the Japanese say it, it's pronounced 'moo-gen' with a hard G, as in game.

    Still dirty

Not too sure clay will help in this case. What probably happened was that your paint got scratched by the dirt when someone wrote 'wash me' on your paint. Clay doesn't remove any scratches, just takes away junk that sits on top of the paint. Some kind of polsih or compound to remove the...

    24oz drink...

Just get to it soon. I had a friend who spilled some soup all over the back of his car, and he waited a bit before cleaning it all up. It soaked in and started to smell a bit moldy. It was a lot of work cleaning that up, and he had a faint smell up until recently.

FF12...and whatever games you guys are playing

I just finished with the draklor laboratory thing, and I'm at around level 40.

FF12...and whatever games you guys are playing

I'm not quite as far into the game as you are, I think, but I'm relying less and less on the mist things now. What I find frustrating in this game is how tedious it is to earn money to buy equipment and stuff.

    3.5 Hour detail

lol, I just noticed, 11:00 to 3:30 is 4.5 hours. That's plenty of time to do all that. Add in any polishing/defect correcting and that time will start to add up. An exterior wash/dry/wax on my car takes me just a bit over an hour, but that's after having done it many times. Sinful, maybe...
