Woo detailing from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm ... results??
Sexy reflections.. and wet-looking paint  .. and yeah i know i'm still not lowered yet :(
I got lowering springs from the cousin's friend, but haven't had the time to have them installed yet.. and i don't even know what brand they are.

My process for detailing:
1. Park car in shady/cool area.
2. Wash car, then dry it.
3. After dried, Use claybar to remove contaminants in the paint.
4. Wash again to remove clay bar residue, then dry again.
5. Wax sections at a time starting from the top to bottom, in circular motions, and let it sit for a couple minutes, then buff the wax off.
6. Apply any wheel dressings etc.
7. Window Cleaner if needed.

The products i used:
Meguiars Gold Class Soap
Meguiars Clay Bar
Meguiars Gold Class Wax
Turtle Wax Black n' Wet
Stoner Window Cleaner

3 and a half hour detail is fairly fast, when I used to show my car I'd have to do it the day before and it would be an alllll day job from morning till you can't see at night and you're out there with work lights lol...granted I did the inside and steam cleaned the engine but that combined was maybe an hour, the rest was spent on paint, rims and wheel wells. Looks pretty good though man.

lol, I just noticed, 11:00 to 3:30 is 4.5 hours. That's plenty of time to do all that. Add in any polishing/defect correcting and that time will start to add up.

An exterior wash/dry/wax on my car takes me just a bit over an hour, but that's after having done it many times.

Sinful, maybe it's time to invest in a random orbit machine? I've got the Porter Cable one, and I love it. You'd probably enjoy it too. It'll let you do even more paint prep steps. Might not save you a lot of time, but it'll save your arms from having to work all that polish in.

My gosh you people clean slow hahaha...I guess I just go fast since that is all i did for 55 hours a week for a whole summer..I mean i could wash/dry a car in 6 min..15 min for a dirty Lexus LX...Wax and wash for my car is about a hour..when i first had my car though, esp with chrome wheels it would take me forever...it would take 45 min a wheel because i would use chrome polisher..thank God for Rotas haha
