    When swapping that engine I had to use the engine wiring harness as well as the dash wiring harnesses in order to get the cls gauge cluster to work. And since the dash harnesses and left and right engine to cabin harnesses had to be swapped with the cls my locks and windows wouldn't work...

    It would work better in your coupe. The cls was a 2 door. When I swapped the cls eng and trans in my tl, my back windows and locks wouldn't work. Now that I have a dx, that **** doesn't matter lol.

    I definitely see where you're coming from, but if that were the case then he should go with a j32a2, probably be cheaper thena a rebuild. IMO.

    No lsd in that trans though, if my memory serves me correctly. Not as much fun ant. Also, a rebuild would work but cost a hell of a lot more and take more time.     Be prepared to spend some money. Cause that sh!t ain't cheap. The module to get the tranny to work is like 500.

    I did the swap on my 99tl, it cost me 3500 for engine, trans, ecu, wiring harness, shifter cables and shifter, clutch pedal, brake pedal, engine mount and tranny mounts. I plan on doing it on my accord this summer. I think I have seen a primer grey sedan around.

    Well in that case ill give you some advice lol. There isn't a 5 speed manual for the v6. A j32 is a possible swap but its gonna cost quite a bit. It would be easier to swap a j30 back in there. You can do a 6 speed swap, but those trannies alone are 1500.

    So I saw a wire hanging down from under the dash, so I decided to investigate. I think I opened a can of worms. Can someone point out what these connectors go to, why there's an inline fuse connected to the obd connector and the other crap that doesn't look right lol.

    thats basically what it would take. A hell of a lot of custom fabrication, a **** load of money, and an extra car to drive while your car goes under the knife. But its possible.
