    Type 1s are not nearly as soft as stock suspension. But as you get used to driving on them, and being slammed you will want stiffer rates because of various lowlife problems that get caused by 'soft' spring rates :) lol

    Thanks guys :) Mikey, I don't think they look that bad in black. I got LOTS more looks from people when I drove to the autoparts shop :lawl: But I was set on white from the beginning so I told myself to just go with what I originally wanted.

    There's a specific thread on the top of this subforum for exactly these type of questions man .. 18x8 +35 is what I have with 215/40/18 tires at 23" fender to ground and theres quite a bit of rubbing on the inner wheel well and fender. At least go with 18x8 +20 and get 205/40 or 215/35 tires...

    Got my tyres mounted. Fronts rub quite a bit in the front on the inner wheel well and fender. 215/40/18 on an 8" .. Raised it up to 23.5" all around for the time being. Love fresh rubber. Kumho KU31's. They're so grippy compared to the Achilles tyres I had on my stock 15" wheels. More pictures...

    Called over 10 stores looking for 205/40/18 tires .. Most stores barely have any in stock (they had pirelli and bridgestone but I'm not paying $389 each!) Going to have to wait until monday so they can call their suppliers and hopefully they'll have some toyo tires or something. Bought lug...

    ^ Ahh thanks for the info. I'll give it a light pull. I'll be running natural camber. It's just that I got two 225/40s with the wheels for free and they still have plenty of tread so I thought I'd try to use them anyway.

    205/40 or 215/40 on 18x8 +35 up front ? And will I be ok running 225/40 on the rear on a 18x9 +38 ? Bumper tab relocated, guards rolled, bumper shaved. Height will be about 23 - 23.5" fender to ground all around, and I will be adding 15-20mm bolt on spacers all around in a few weeks.

    Yessir. I have to get rid of the 255/40 tires on the rear first, then throw the 225/40 from the front wheels to the rear and then get a couple 2nd hand 215/40's for the front for the time being. And then later on I will be adding spacers. Unsure of what sizes yet but they'll be at least 10mm...
