Aleks (sp?) there's not much you can do with that boot being that the shifter is so tall, just need a short shifter, or a new boot. I'd just get a new boot and collar, that oem clip collar is ugly, imo.

Perhaps, I'll have to deal with it for now...have to put fund into maintenance. It's such a weird feeling...I kinda like the gap. I know it doesn't look clean but whatev it's easier for me to drive like that.

The only thing that annoyed me about that oem collar with a different shift knob, is that when you shift it makes noise as it hits the metal shifter. Idk, that just always bothered me. Everytime I shifted "clank clinkclink clank clank" -__-
