3 liters?!? Christ.

Are you installing the rebuilt tranny yourself? It should be the shops job to fill it if they're putting it in...

Fluid change is 2.6 qts, capacity is 6.4 qt.

Just keep adding until it comes up on the mark. My guess is that you'll need 4-5 quarts. Fluid needs to be warm and engine off when you check it.

the trans was rebuilt and i picked up a motor with low miles and dropped it in last week, just got done with everything today B&M trans filter and cooler and hooking up all connectors.

so 7 or 8 quarts and warm it up and turn off car check fluid ... thanks
